Praise the Lord!! My soul delights in the Lord. He is so good and kind and faithful to His children. Years, I mean years I have pondered the scripture found in Proverbs 23:23 that says, "Buy the truth, and sell it not; also wisdom, and instruction, and understanding". I have asked the Lord for years, what does buy the truth and sell it not mean. When I first got saved, I thought it meant, buying Bibles and study materials. Wrong. This past Friday, the question crossed my mind again. With so much going on with those that profess Christ, the backsliders, the lukewarm, no interest in the work of the Lord, the question came back to my mind. For regardless of what people do, the word of God can not be changed for anybody. So what does it mean to buy the truth and sell it not? It fell in my heart to turn on some holiness preaching.
