#Call Jesus,#Cry out,#Jesus, Deliverer

If you call Jesus right, he will hear you and come see about you.  Ask blind Bartimaeus. The scriptures says in St. Mark 10:46-52 that Jesus, His disciples and a great number of people were leaving Jericho.  Blind Bartimaeus heard that Jesus of Nazareth was passing by.  Blind Bartimaeus could not see.  He did not know what Jesus looked like.  He only knew what he heard. Blind Bartimaeus began to cry out to Jesus, "Jesus, thou son of David have mercy on me".  When the people tried to stop him, he cried out the more so, "Thou son of David, have mercy on me".  He did no let people keep him from calling on the Lord.  He must have heard about the miracles, healing, deliverance that took place at the hand of the Lord. Jesus heard the cry of Blind Bartimaeus.  It was the sound of the cry that revealed to the Lord that Blind Bartimaeus was calling out in a blind state, but yet believing something would happen if he could get the attention of Jesus of Nazareth. .  He w

#A Lot of Singing,#Shouting,#Tongue Talking,#Playing

Music was one of the things that drew me to want to go to Church when I was not saved.   I use to love to hear and 'feel' the spirit of the songs.  Back then, the singers would sing unto the Lord.  They were not paid to sing.  They were not seeking recording contracts.  They would sing unto the Lord.  The would sing about the Lord.  So, when one went to hear the singers, your soul got touched whether you wanted it to or not. I can remember going to the Holiness Churches.  The praise was different too.  When the Saints praised God back then, it was real.  When the Saints did dance 'in the Spirit', it was real.  You could feel it.  There was always this 'presence' in the Holiness Church that I could not explain....then.  But that presence kind of held you captive, whether you wanted it o or not.  And, sometimes Church would go on for hours, but no one cared.  And, if one of the Saints said something to you that the Lord gave them for you, you knew it and felt it

"And he said to them all, If any man will come after me, let him deny himself, and take up his cross daily, and follow me.  For whosoever will save his life shall lose it: but whosoever will lose his life for my sake, the same shall save it".  St. Luke 9:23,24 ******************************* It is unwise to put what you want to do, feel like doing or desire to do above the Lord.   Not wise .  Someone did not go to Church today because he or she did not 'feel' like it.  Someone did not go or will not go because he or she had something else they wanted to do.   Not wise . What if the Lord 'did not feel like it'?  How would you breathe?  How would you walk?  How would you talk? The same God you ignore on Sunday is the same God that will wake you up on Monday to go to work.  Do you treat your job better than you treat the Lord? Do you go to your job more than you go to Church? Not Wise . Time for Church steadfastapostolic.com

#Testimony,#Tell It

The scripture says, "And they overcame him by the blood of the Lamb, and by the word of their testimony; and they loved not their lives unto the death".  Revelation 12:11 Every born again, baptized in Jesus Name believer has a saving testimony.  One that attests to the Lord bringing deliverance based on repentance/turning away from a life of sin.  Seems more and more today we hear of those that tell of the goodness of the Lord after crying at the altar.  But that is not repentance. What has the Lord delivered you from?   What is your saving testimony?  How were you living before salvation?  The blood Jesus shed was for the saving of souls.  He paid the price for sin when He allowed them to crucify him.  He was the spotless lamb that took the place of sinful man.  He that knew no sin became sin. Have you been washed in the blood of the Lamb?  No, really, have you?  Time is running out.

#Morals,#Holiness,#Obedience

The Bible teaches us that to obey is better than sacrifice.  Many times, the best man has to offer is not good enough.  Sometimes man in his or her best effort still falls short.  But, when the Word of God is obeyed, the end result will be victory. The logic of man is not good enough to weigh out what is right or wrong.  For mans logic can only go so far because man can only see so far.  But the Word of God, covers everything a person would ever have to face.  The decisions that have to be made in life, how to work out issues in relationships and family.  How to handle difficult situations.  The Word of God has the answers. To rise above flesh and the human nature, takes the born again experience.  Flesh wants for nothing good. It truly is time to seek the Lord while He yet may be found.

#Forgiveness,#mercy,#Grace,#conviction,#repentance

Conviction is one thing.  Repentance is another.  When they both work together, salvation comes forth.  In the book of John chapter 8, the woman caught in adultery was brought to Jesus.  They brought her to Jesus to test the teachings of Jesus. Especially, since He said He came to fulfill the law.  They reminded Jesus that Moses in the law taught that one caught in adultery should be stoned to death. They wanted to know what Jesus thought about it. Jesus ignored them for awhile.  But in verse 7 Jesus asked a question.  He asked, "He that is without sin among you, let him first cast a stone at her".  The Bible says, and they which heard it, being convicted by their own conscience, went out one by one, beginning at the eldest, even unto the last: and Jesus was left along, and the woman standing in the midst".  Oh, to be left with the Word of Life!! The Lord asked the woman where her accusers were.  She told him they are gone.  He asked her about those that condemned he

Ministry

The  Lord had given me a job to do.  I must do it.  He has called me to set up There Is Hope Foundation here in San Antonio, Texas. The purpose of this part of the ministry to to serve those in need of having some one to talk to.  In need of someone to help guide them.  No, we do not take the place of the Holy Ghost.  But, rather our desire to help someone get past the road blocks of life that keeps them from seeking after the Lord. I am qualified to Counsel you or Coach you.  Both based on the Word of God.  If you need our services, please call. Pastor Webb www.thereishope4.com

#Jesus Christ is Lord,#Loving the Lord

I will bless the Lord at all times.  His praise shall continually be in my mouth. Jesus said in John 6 that He is the way, the truth and the life.  You can not get around Jesus to be saved or the live a right life.  The world changes.  Man kind changes.  But, the Lord does not change. The way into the Church does not change either.  It still takes repentance, baptism is Jesus Name and the baptism of the Holy Ghost to be saved.  Yes, Jesus Christ is Lord!!
