Holiness Has Not Changed

We sing a song that says, 'the Lord has delivered me.  Why should I be bound.  The Lord has delivered me.  Why should I be bound'. There is something wrong when on professes to be a Saint, and yet is not free to serve the Lord.  The dictates of men control instead of the Holy Ghost.  Jesus did say that when the Spirit of truth comes, it will lead and guide into all truth.  Yet, more and more the 'Saints' are drying up.  No real joy.  Unable to fellowship with other Saints.  No real praise. Jesus did not come, bleed, die and rise again for souls to stay bound!!! Lift up your heads, oh ye gates and be ye lifted up ye everlasting doors and the King of glory shall come in.

The Bible teaches that no lie is of the truth (I John 2:21). It is hard to hear and see people think they are Heaven bound when they have not been born again of the water and the spirit.  It's hard. There are so many nice people.  So many caring people.  So many giving people.  But at the end of the day, in order to make it to Heaven you must be born again.  The sin that a person commits must be paid for.  And, only the blood of Jesus can do this. The Bible teaches that you are not saved by works lest any man should boast (Ephesians 2:9 ). Jesus dying on Calvary for the sins of the world brings salvation.  One must accept/believe that Jesus died for ones sins and then repent of the sins in his or her life.  There is no automatic salvation.  You must repent.  After repentance, the soul must seek for the infilling of the Holy Ghost which is the power of God inside of a person.  This power is able to keep you from falling back into a life living in sin.  The first step after r
