The Bible teaches that no lie is of the truth (I John 2:21).
It is hard to hear and see people think they are Heaven bound when they have not been born again of the water and the spirit. It's hard.
There are so many nice people. So many caring people. So many giving people. But at the end of the day, in order to make it to Heaven you must be born again. The sin that a person commits must be paid for. And, only the blood of Jesus can do this.
The Bible teaches that you are not saved by works lest any man should boast (Ephesians 2:9).
Jesus dying on Calvary for the sins of the world brings salvation. One must accept/believe that Jesus died for ones sins and then repent of the sins in his or her life. There is no automatic salvation. You must repent. After repentance, the soul must seek for the infilling of the Holy Ghost which is the power of God inside of a person. This power is able to keep you from falling back into a life living in sin. The first step after repentance to seek for the Holy Ghost is to be baptized in the Name of Jesus for the remission (payment) of your sins (Acts 2:38).
John 3:3-7 states: "Jesus answered and said unto him, verily, verily, I say unto thee, Except a man be born again, he cannot see the kingdom of God. Nicodemus saith unto him, How can a man be born when he is old: can he enter the second time into his mother's womb, and be born? Jesus answered, Verily, verily, I say unto thee, Except a man be born of water and of the Spirit, he cannot enter into the kingdom of God. That which is born of flesh is flesh; and that which is born of the Spirit is spirit. Marvel not that I said unto thee, Ye must be born again."
The true message of salvation is getting lost in all the noise and false teaching. God's people are more interested in the cares of the world instead of the things of the Lord.
Sunday is 'Super Bowl Sunday'. How many Churches are going to have a Super Bowl party? How many Churches are going to cancel services for the Super Bowl? How many of God's people will have just a 'little drink' during the game? How many will be in bars watching 'the game'.? Because of commercials and such, it will take at least 4 hours for the game to finish!! And folks will be sitting, waiting and watching the entire time. But when it comes to Jesus, Church after an hour, restlessness sets in. How much money will be spent on Super Bowl Sunday vs how much will be given in offering to the Church?
Marvel not, you truly must be born again. All unrighteousness is sin and the wages (payment) of sin is death. "But the fearful, and unbelieving, and the abominable and murderers, and whoremongers, and sorcerers, and idolaters, and all liars, shall have their part in the lake which burnt with fire and brimstone: which is the second death.? Revelations 21:8
"And whosoever was not found written in the book of life was cast into the lake of fire." Revelations 20:15.
