Halloween

This is one of those subjects that either offends or causes gladness.

For the Church that Jesus purchased with His blood, halloween is not a a day to celebrate.  The Saints of God do not participate in halloween.  No pumpkin patches, no candy, no costumes.

Candy is sold all year long.  Why expose your children to this type of celebration that is not based upon the Word of God?  If you search out its history, halloween is based on ancient Celtic celebrations.  It was a day the Celtics observed the dead.  Witches, fairies, etc were all part of this celebration.  When the custom came to the United States, people started dressing up like the witches and dead??  All of this information is available on the Internet

God says in His word that his people are destroyed for lack of knowledge.  Next Thursday, 'churches' will have pumpkin patches, halloween parties, trick or trunk etc.  But if you search the Bible, the Word of God, one will not find halloween.  As a matter of fact, God said he hates the new moons a appointed feats.  He dislikes the observance of days He did not set up.

Praying the people of God will wake up and go back to serving the Lord like the Bible says.

#A Lot of Singing,#Shouting,#Tongue Talking,#Playing

Music was one of the things that drew me to want to go to Church when I was not saved.   I use to love to hear and 'feel' the spirit of the songs.  Back then, the singers would sing unto the Lord.  They were not paid to sing.  They were not seeking recording contracts.  They would sing unto the Lord.  The would sing about the Lord.  So, when one went to hear the singers, your soul got touched whether you wanted it to or not. I can remember going to the Holiness Churches.  The praise was different too.  When the Saints praised God back then, it was real.  When the Saints did dance 'in the Spirit', it was real.  You could feel it.  There was always this 'presence' in the Holiness Church that I could not explain....then.  But that presence kind of held you captive, whether you wanted it o or not.  And, sometimes Church would go on for hours, but no one cared.  And, if one of the Saints said something to you that the Lord gave them for you, you knew it and felt it

"For I testify unto every man that heareth the words of the prophecy of this book, If any man shall add unto these things, God shall add unto him the plagues that are written in this book: And if any man shall take away from the words of the book of this prophecy, God shall take away his part out of the book of life, and out of the holy city, and from the things which are written in this book."   Revelations 22:18-19 The scriptures are plain.  The Bible is not to be played with.  The words written in it are to be taught and preached unto the soul of men.  To add to the what the Lord has already said will bring plagues upon man kind.  To take away from what the word says, will cause a person's part in the holy city (Heaven) to be removed.  So, why would anyone try and change what the Bible says?  Cute sayings do not lead a soul to salvation.  It takes the Word preached and taught.  The Bible says specifically that the word is God ( John 1:1 ).   The Bible says specifical
