#Call Jesus,#Cry out,#Jesus, Deliverer
If you call Jesus right, he will hear you and come see about you. Ask blind Bartimaeus.
The scriptures says in St. Mark 10:46-52 that Jesus, His disciples and a great number of people were leaving Jericho. Blind Bartimaeus heard that Jesus of Nazareth was passing by. Blind Bartimaeus could not see. He did not know what Jesus looked like. He only knew what he heard.
Blind Bartimaeus began to cry out to Jesus, "Jesus, thou son of David have mercy on me". When the people tried to stop him, he cried out the more so, "Thou son of David, have mercy on me". He did no let people keep him from calling on the Lord. He must have heard about the miracles, healing, deliverance that took place at the hand of the Lord.
Jesus heard the cry of Blind Bartimaeus. It was the sound of the cry that revealed to the Lord that Blind Bartimaeus was calling out in a blind state, but yet believing something would happen if he could get the attention of Jesus of Nazareth. . He was calling out because of what he heard. And, what he heard about Jesus, he believed because it made him cry out.
After Blind Bartimaeus cried out two times for Jesus to help him, the Bible says, "And Jesus stood still".
This scripture just makes me believe, If you call on the Lord right, He will stand still for you too. The Bible says "God is our refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble". Ps. 46:1.
