Holiness: #Testimony,#Tell It: The scripture says, "And they overcame him by the blood of the Lamb, and by the word of their testimony; and they loved not their lives...
It has been awhile since the last post. A lot has happened. A lot has been seen and experienced. The one thing that is of the most important to the blood-bought Church is the word of God. As the Lord delays His coming, more and more the word of God is being changed by man to accommodate people. More and more those that say they love God, fall out with the Church and have a problem with correction and being told they are wrong and need to change. It seems that the very elect is being fooled by their own foolishness, disobedience, and selfishness. And Heaven forbids if you talk about money. The worst ones are those that profess to have the Holy Ghost!!! Since when did the Saints of God get so attached to money and forget about the work of the Lord? Since when did the Saints of God become more concerned with their feelings than with doing what thus said the Lord? Since when? Stop watering down the Gospel. Stop tryin...
There are so many names for this one day out of the year. Which one is right? Which one does Jesus teach? In the Old Testament, God told Israel to keep the Passover. It represented the fact that God delivered Israel out of the land of Egypt and out of Pharaoh's hands. It is called Passover because the death angel passed over all the houses that had blood on the door post and lintels. There was also a special diet that accompanied the Passover in the Old Testament. This teaching can be found in the book of Exodus, starting at chapter 12. After the instructions from God on the Passover, God gave Israel twelve commandments to live by. This can be found in Exodus Chapter 20, verses 1 through 17 . The word Easter is found in the Bible one time, in the book of Acts 12:4 . It is only mentioned. The Bible does not teach Easter. Easter is a pagan celebration. It has nothing to do with Jesus, the Church or salvation. ...
"And he said to them all, If any man will come after me, let him deny himself, and take up his cross daily, and follow me. For whosoever will save his life shall lose it: but whosoever will lose his life for my sake, the same shall save it". St. Luke 9:23,24 ******************************* It is unwise to put what you want to do, feel like doing or desire to do above the Lord. Not wise . Someone did not go to Church today because he or she did not 'feel' like it. Someone did not go or will not go because he or she had something else they wanted to do. Not wise . What if the Lord 'did not feel like it'? How would you breathe? How would you walk? How would you talk? The same God you ignore on Sunday is the same God that will wake you up on Monday to go to work. Do you treat your job better than you treat the Lord? Do you go to your job more than you go to Church? Not Wise . Time for Church steadfastapostolic.com
