'When Everything Else Moves You, But the Things of God"
It would be the Star Spangle Banner (today is July 4th). it could be good news about something you care about (family,a job promotion or raise). It could be an answered prayer. It could be a move ( what I think is called a tear jerk er). All of these things can 'move a person'. By move a person I mean, make one cry, laugh with joy, run, yell out. The news is so good it just, moves you.
Jesus Saves.
I have been in stores where the sales are so good that people call relatives and friends to come to the sale. They want their relatives and friends to benefit from the sale (good news). Saving money, good news right?
Jesus Saves.
It could be a good report from the doctor. Or, a good report from the lawyer or judge. Tears of joy would flow. Why? Good news.
Jesus Saves.
Man will not live always. One day man will die. The flesh will go back to the dust and the soul will........ The soul will.................. The soul will......................... And, the soul will.................
Someone you know has been telling you about Jesus, Salvation, Holiness. Someone you know has constantly been telling you about coming to Church, turning your life around, come out of sin, tarry for the Holy Ghost, live Holy. There could be a Preacher, Teacher, Saint that has been witnessing to you to come on in before it is too late. Someone telling you about the saving power of Jesus Christ and Holy Ghost power. Good news. Jesus Saves. Good news. But, does that move you?
In hell, people will regret not taking heed to the 'good news'. Some will dare to point fingers and ask, "why didn't you tell me hell was real? why didn't you tell me I needed to be saved?" And, then they will remember how they did not think it important to go to Church. Did not want to stop living in disobedience to the Word of God. They will remember the all the times they were invited to Church and did not see the need to go.
Thank the Lord for those that still witness of the saving power of the Holy Ghost. Jesus Christ is the savior and Lord. He came that man might have life and have it more abundantly.
"But if the watchman see the sword come, and blow not the trumpet and the people be not warned; if the sword come, and take any person from among them, he is taken away in his iniquity, but his blood will be required at the watchman's hand." Ezekiel 33:6
"Again, when the wicked man turneth away from his wickedness that he hath committed and doeth that which is lawful and right, he shall save his soul alive." Ezekiel 18:27
And, yes there is a piece of bad news. "The soul that sinneth, it shall surely die". Ezekiel 18:4. "And death and hell were cast into the lake of fire. This is the second death. And whosoever was not found written in the book of like was cast into the lake of fire." Revelation 20:14,15
I beseech you in the Name of Jesus Christ, repent and get saved before it is too late. Jesus is coming back. And no man knows the day or the hour when the son of man shall appear.
