Praise the Lord everybody.

On February 14, 2015 at 1 pm  we will have a study on marriage.  The study will be detailed, scripture driven with depth.  We will be studying the role of the husband and wife.  We will be studying two becoming one flesh and the hindrances involved,   We will be studying about the marriage relationship and how to make it strong.

There will be study material provided.  When I teach, I welcome participation and discussion.  If you think your marriage can benefit from this study, please come join us.  The location: 2379 N.E. God's word says marriage is honorable.  Do not give up.  Be willing to learn how to be the mate the Lord would have you to be.  I will be available for prayer after the study.

#A Lot of Singing,#Shouting,#Tongue Talking,#Playing

Music was one of the things that drew me to want to go to Church when I was not saved.   I use to love to hear and 'feel' the spirit of the songs.  Back then, the singers would sing unto the Lord.  They were not paid to sing.  They were not seeking recording contracts.  They would sing unto the Lord.  The would sing about the Lord.  So, when one went to hear the singers, your soul got touched whether you wanted it to or not. I can remember going to the Holiness Churches.  The praise was different too.  When the Saints praised God back then, it was real.  When the Saints did dance 'in the Spirit', it was real.  You could feel it.  There was always this 'presence' in the Holiness Church that I could not explain....then.  But that presence kind of held you captive, whether you wanted it o or not.  And, sometimes Church would go on for hours, but no one cared.  And, if one of the Saints said something to you that the Lord gave them for you, you knew it and felt it

#Not Wise,#What if,Church Attendance,#Unwise

"And he said to them all, If any man will come after me, let him deny himself, and take up his cross daily, and follow me.  For whosoever will save his life shall lose it: but whosoever will lose his life for my sake, the same shall save it".  St. Luke 9:23,24 ******************************* It is unwise to put what you want to do, feel like doing or desire to do above the Lord.   Not wise .  Someone did not go to Church today because he or she did not 'feel' like it.  Someone did not go or will not go because he or she had something else they wanted to do.   Not wise . What if the Lord 'did not feel like it'?  How would you breathe?  How would you walk?  How would you talk? The same God you ignore on Sunday is the same God that will wake you up on Monday to go to work.  Do you treat your job better than you treat the Lord?
