There is a whole lot of foolishness going on around.  If your desire is to go to Heaven , you have to get in the Word and stay there. Too many talking and God has not called them or sent them.  Too many conducting themselves contrary to the Word of God.

Everything is not acceptable, if you are trying to go to Heaven.  The focus of the Church Jesus purchased with His blood is saving souls from a hell's pit.  When the focus is conferences, plays, entertainment the Word of God does not support either of these.  The Saints use to gather together to study the Word together and make sure they still had the doctrine right.  There was no fee to attend.  Everyone pitched in the gather food.  The power of God moved.

Our Children are more drawn to the world than to Jesus. More time needs to be spent in prayer at the altar that the Lord will have mercy and save souls.  There has to be more interest in getting a soul into the Church instead of into a building.  Being in the building does not mean being in the Church.

All the vain things going on to be seen of men.  What about Jesus?  What about your soul?

"For the time will come when they will not endure sound doctrine; but after their own lusts shall they heap to themselves teachers, having itching ears; And they shall turn away their ears from the truth, and shall be turned unto fables."  II Timothy 4:3,4

"This know also, that in the last days perilous times shall come.  For men shall be lovers of their own selves, covetous boaster, proud, blasphemers, disobedient to parents, unthankful, unholy, Without natural affection, trucebreakers, false accusers, incontinent, fierce, despisers of those that are good, traitors, heady, highminded, lovers of pleasures more than lovers of God; Having a form of godliness, but denying the power thereof: from such turn away."  II Timothy 3:1-5

#A Lot of Singing,#Shouting,#Tongue Talking,#Playing

Music was one of the things that drew me to want to go to Church when I was not saved.   I use to love to hear and 'feel' the spirit of the songs.  Back then, the singers would sing unto the Lord.  They were not paid to sing.  They were not seeking recording contracts.  They would sing unto the Lord.  The would sing about the Lord.  So, when one went to hear the singers, your soul got touched whether you wanted it to or not. I can remember going to the Holiness Churches.  The praise was different too.  When the Saints praised God back then, it was real.  When the Saints did dance 'in the Spirit', it was real.  You could feel it.  There was always this 'presence' in the Holiness Church that I could not explain....then.  But that presence kind of held you captive, whether you wanted it o or not.  And, sometimes Church would go on for hours, but no one cared.  And, if one of the Saints said something to you that the Lord gave them for you, you knew it and felt it

#Not Wise,#What if,Church Attendance,#Unwise

"And he said to them all, If any man will come after me, let him deny himself, and take up his cross daily, and follow me.  For whosoever will save his life shall lose it: but whosoever will lose his life for my sake, the same shall save it".  St. Luke 9:23,24 ******************************* It is unwise to put what you want to do, feel like doing or desire to do above the Lord.   Not wise .  Someone did not go to Church today because he or she did not 'feel' like it.  Someone did not go or will not go because he or she had something else they wanted to do.   Not wise . What if the Lord 'did not feel like it'?  How would you breathe?  How would you walk?  How would you talk? The same God you ignore on Sunday is the same God that will wake you up on Monday to go to work.  Do you treat your job better than you treat the Lord?
