Those of you that have been born again of the water and the Spirit, baptized in Jesus Name, filled with the Holy Ghost and that by fire, with evidence of speaking in other tongues as the Spirit give utterance are responsible to make sure your children walk by the same rules and mind the same things.
It is seems more now than ever that the parent will be clean and Holy but do not hold the same standard for his or her child. I am going to be very specific here, so if you get offended, ??
Holy people know that the sanctuary is to be reverenced. It is the place where God meets with His people. Therefore, no food, no games, no playing around. So if one professes to be Holy, your child should be taught the same way. I don't remember seeing kids eat or drink in denominated churches when I was lost and living in sin.
Use to be the Saints Children had to stay awake during service. Now, it seems it is OK if they sleep because they are 'tired'. Use to be when the adults went to pray, the children did too. Now it seems the adults do not even show up for prayer but profess to be Holy Ghost filled. The children had to learn Bible verses and learn how to pray. There was no children's church. Everybody was in the sanctuary listening to the preacher preach the word of God.
How is it the wife is clean, but the daughter wears make up and worldly cloths? Why is the parent buying worldly cloths for the child when the parent professes Holiness? In Holiness, women do not wear pants, jewelry, make up, revealing clothing, skirt splits are sewn up, skirts are below the knee, legs have stockings on them, the chest is not out. Sleeves to blouses and dresses extend below the elbow or right to the elbow. Holy men do not wear shorts, sleeveless t shirts, open shirts, they tuck in their shirts, they shave and wear neat trimmed hair. Holy men do not wear ear rings.
Now, those that have taken down will say all the above is legalism and old school. They will say it does not take that any more. They will say that it is OK to go against the standard. To all I say, not so.
It does not matter if you do not agree. It is still the way it should be for Holy people. God is looking for a Holy people. For it is written be ye Holy for I am Holy. God said to follow peace with all men and Holiness without which no man shall see the Lord. No one can change this.
I can remember being unsaved and going to Church or going to hear the Pentecostal Choirs sing. They looked different. They looked at peace. They had joy. And when they would sing, it was not like anything I had ever heard. They would play the instruments, beat the tambourine and then there would be this 'presence' that would come in the room. That 'presence' would cause you to do things. What was that, I would always ask myself. What is it that they have that others didn't? Now I know what it was. They way they presented their bodies and praised the Lord in the beauty of holiness brought the Holy Ghost into the room!! The music was not loud and over bearing. It was anointed and holy. The singers would sing until the power of God filled the room. And once that happened, look out!! But now, what do we have? A counterfeit praise, that what we have.
We have men that act like women (and vice versa) singing and directing the choir, we have men wearing ear rings and long hair in the choirs or praise team, we have women in make up, short dresses, sleeveless dresses, in the choir or praise team. The musicians most times now, play for both the church and clubs in the world. How can the presence of God come into such? I am talking here about the true presence of the Holy Ghost and not emotionalism!! All this brings in is emotion, just like the music in the club does for those that go there. The choir members and musicians use to have to be living a holy life to sing or play the instruments. The same is not true today. Being skilled vocally or musically is not the same as being anointed. The two are just not the same.
The teachings of the Bible make it plain that in order to be in relationship with Jesus Christ, one must come out from the world and be ye separate. This goes for the church member, the members children, the choir, the praise team, the 5 fold ministry and all that profess to be 'saved, sanctified and filled with the Holy Ghost'.
Stop playing with God. Stop playing with His standards. For the only way to go to Heaven is to obey the Lord and His word. Light and dark do not mix.
