Holiness Has Not Changed

Jude 3 says,  "Beloved, when I gave all diligence to write unto you of the common salvation, it was needful for me to write unto you, and exhort you that ye should earnestly contend for the faith which was once delivered unto the saints". As a minister of the Gospel, this is one of the duties the Lord has commanded, keep the faith alive.  What is meant by faith?  Accepting and believing the Gospel of Jesus Christ the way it is written.  For in order to go to Heaven, everyone must obey the same Gospel. There is a  charge to preach the Gospel, because one never knows who will be the next person to believe in the Gospel of Jesus Christ.  Preaching the Gospel, so the death, burial and resurrection of Christ can be believed on unto salvation.  What is the Gospel?  The good news that Jesus Christ paid for sin, when he allowed himself to be crucified.  Jesus is God.  He could have called down a legion of Angels to destroy those that set ou...

Romans 6:23 says, "For the wages of sin is death; but the gift of God is eternal like through Jesus Christ our Lord". The world is working over time trying to erase the difference between good and evil, right and wrong.  The prince of this world, satan, knows that hell is real.  He knows that sinners will end up there.  He knows that there is a price to be paid for living a sinful life.  If you ask the average person the question, 'what is sin' you would get all kinds of answers.  However, the Bible states, all unrighteousness is sin.  So satan's next point of attack is the Word of God.  If he can get people to believe the Bible is not true, then how will sin be defined?  It would be defined by what men want sin to be. I thank the good Lord that He has a people that still believe the Bible is the unadulterated truth and what ever is in it is truth.  Therefore, how is truth defined?  By the Word of God. The Church belongs to God!  He purchased it with His blood on Calvary. At no times should anyone try and make the Church a carnal entity.  The work of the Church is to be directed by the Holy Ghost.  It is out of order when one tries to make it appear as if the work of the Church is mans idea or mans ways. I have experienced a lot of people lately saying 'your church' or trying to make the Church Jesus Christ paid with His blood have carnal feelings.  Not so.  A Pastor of a Church purchased by the blood of Jesus has one goal in mind and heart and that is to do what the Lord says to do the way He says to do it.  At no time, does a Pastor ministering in a Church purchased by the blood of Jesus Christ put his or her feeling into the ministry. Jesus told us that without Him , we  can do nothing.  The church is to be led by the Holy Ghost and no one else. Those that profess Christ need to stop trying to put carnal feelings into the Church the Lord...

John 3:16 "For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life".  What love.  Then verse 17 says, "For God sent not his Son into the world to condemn the world; but that the world through him might be saved". So when I hear people say things like "a good God would not send anyone to hell", I ask how that conclusion was drawn.  God does not send anyone to hell.  Men, women, boys and girls send their own souls to hell because they will not receive the redeeming work of the Lord into their life. The two verses above are very clear.  Whosover believeth in him should not perish.  How many people actually believe in the soul saving power of Jesus Christ?  An also, how many people actual realize they need their sins forgiven?  How many people believe they are sinners?  In our world today, most think they are o.k. if they are good citizens.  Not so when ...

II John verses 9-11 says,"Whosoever transgresseth, and abideth no in the doctrine of Christ, hath not God.  He that abideth in the doctrine of Christ, he hath both the Father and the Son.  If there come any unto you, and bring not this doctrine, receive him not into your house, neither bid him God speed: For he that biddeth him God speed is partaker of his evil deeds". There is lot of talk and teaching about whether or not the Bible is true.  Is hell real?  What is the purpose of Church?  Do we still need the Church? All Christians are fake and on and on.  Those that once ran well are going back to the beggardly elements of the world and trying to discredit the Bible. Well, allow me to say this.  In John 3: 3 Jesus said, "Verily, verily, I say unto thee, Except a man be born again, he cannot see the kingdom of God.  Then verse 6 states, "That which is born of the flesh is flesh: and that which is born of the Spirit is Spirit. Anger is a terrible spirit to have or to have to deal with.  I destroys all that it comes in contact with.  It is not your friend.  The Bible says: "He that is soon angry dealeth foolishly: and a man of wicked devised is hated".  Pr. 14:17 "He that is slow to anger is better than the mighty, and he that ruleth his spirit than he that  taketh a city".  Pr. 16:32 "Be not hasty in thy spirit to be angry: for anger resteth in the bosom of fools".  Ec.7:9 Those with the spirit of anger are foolish according to the Bible. If you have an anger spirit, get rid of it before it destroys you.

The wages of sin is still death.  Matters not what man says.  Everything can not and will not make it into Heaven. I see what the enemy is doing with the TV shows that depict the worlds version of a Christian.  Christians are Christ like.  Christians, Saints, do not drink, smoke, go to movies, dances, say curse words, date, fornicate, lie, steal, ........  When I see a false representation of the Church I pray and ask the Lord to help those over look the lies of the false preacher, teacher so the person will not be deceived. Let the Church be the Church.
