The Psalms says, "I will bless the Lord at all times.  His praise shall continually be in my mouth.  My soul shall make her boast in the Lord.  The humble shall hear thereof, and be glad."  Psalms 34:1,2

I thank God for His word and His Spirit.  These one (God is a Spirit and the Word is God) is what the world needs right now.  For two weeks, most of the news has been about the Presidential Election.  Some greatly dislike the Republican candidate.  Some greatly dislike the Democrat candidate.  I have read comments made by those professing Christ against the candidates, that truly questions what they believe and not representing Christ.

The Saints of God are suppose to stand for truth and Holiness based on the word of God.  God's word does not teach hate.  As a matter of fact, it says the following concerning those one considers an enemy:

"Ye have heard that it hath been said, Thou shalt love thy neighbor, and hate thine enemy.  But I say unto you, Love your enemies, bless them that curse you, do good to them that  hate you, and pray for them which despitefully use you, and persecute you: That ye may be the children of your Father which is in heaven: for he taketh his sun to rise on the evil and on the good and sendeth rain on the just and the unjust.  For it ye love them which love you, what reward have ye? do not even the publicans the same.  And if ye salute your brethren only, what do ye more than others? do not even the publicans so?  Be ye therefore perfect, even as your Father which is in heaven is perfect."  Matthew 5:43-48

 The book of Matthew also says that God's people are the salt of the earth.  It goes on to say, however, "but if the salt have lost his savour, wherewith shall it be salted?: it is thenceforth good for nothing, but to be cast out, and to be trodden under foot of men."  Matthew 5:12

The question everyone that says he or she is a Believer, Saint, Christian, etc is 'what am i good for?  Have I lost my savour?  Something to think about.

#A Lot of Singing,#Shouting,#Tongue Talking,#Playing

Music was one of the things that drew me to want to go to Church when I was not saved.   I use to love to hear and 'feel' the spirit of the songs.  Back then, the singers would sing unto the Lord.  They were not paid to sing.  They were not seeking recording contracts.  They would sing unto the Lord.  The would sing about the Lord.  So, when one went to hear the singers, your soul got touched whether you wanted it to or not. I can remember going to the Holiness Churches.  The praise was different too.  When the Saints praised God back then, it was real.  When the Saints did dance 'in the Spirit', it was real.  You could feel it.  There was always this 'presence' in the Holiness Church that I could not explain....then.  But that presence kind of held you captive, whether you wanted it o or not.  And, sometimes Church would go on for hours, but no one cared.  And, if one of the Saints said something to you that the Lord gave them for you, you knew it and felt it

#Not Wise,#What if,Church Attendance,#Unwise

"And he said to them all, If any man will come after me, let him deny himself, and take up his cross daily, and follow me.  For whosoever will save his life shall lose it: but whosoever will lose his life for my sake, the same shall save it".  St. Luke 9:23,24 ******************************* It is unwise to put what you want to do, feel like doing or desire to do above the Lord.   Not wise .  Someone did not go to Church today because he or she did not 'feel' like it.  Someone did not go or will not go because he or she had something else they wanted to do.   Not wise . What if the Lord 'did not feel like it'?  How would you breathe?  How would you walk?  How would you talk? The same God you ignore on Sunday is the same God that will wake you up on Monday to go to work.  Do you treat your job better than you treat the Lord?
