The Flesh

According to the Bible the Flesh and the spirit of God do not agree. They are not the same. You can not live a Holy life in the flesh.

If you call Jesus right, he will hear you and come see about you.  Ask blind Bartimaeus. The scriptures says in St. Mark 10:46-52 that Jesus, His disciples and a great number of people were leaving Jericho.  Blind Bartimaeus heard that Jesus of Nazareth was passing by.  Blind Bartimaeus could not see.  He did not know what Jesus looked like.  He only knew what he heard. Blind Bartimaeus began to cry out to Jesus, "Jesus, thou son of David have mercy on me".  When the people tried to stop him, he cried out the more so, "Thou son of David, have mercy on me".  He did no let people keep him from calling on the Lord.  He must have heard about the miracles, healing, deliverance that took place at the hand of the Lord. The Bible says  the wages of sin is death.  That means the soul of the sinner will not make it into Heaven.  Most recently there has been much talk in the news about laws being passed to accept, as right,  the gay, homosexual life style.   The Bible, the Word of God, tells us that this is sin.  The laws of the land can not change the Word of God or the judgement that will take place in time because of sin.  Man can say it is ok, but the Word of God says it is sin.
