Holiness Has Not Changed

There is a lot going on in the United States and the world right now.  The weather is different.  There is unrest in some of our cities.  A whole university closed down over night leaving students in limbo. Earth quakes in divers places.  The Bible speaks to all of this. It is time to seek the Lord and be saved! I know some get tired of hearing it.  "the same thing over and over and over again."  I know.  But, ETERNITY IS A LONG TIME!!!! WHERE WILL YOU SPEND IT? When a person dies, the only way their soul will rest is if they die saved.  If they are not saved when they die, hell will be the final resting place. What is saved?  Being saved is not going to Church.  Being saved is not reading the Bible.  Being saved is not quoting scriptures. It is easy to speak about the goodness of the Lord.  To speak about how much He loves us.  How much and how often He makes ways for people.  How He opens doors that no man can shut.  How He heals the body.  How he regulates the mind.  The worst of persons can speak to these things concerning Jesus. But what about loving Jesus back?  In the natural no one wants to do it all or give it all in a relationship and receive nothing back.  But when it comes to Jesus the masses are quick to speak to the Lord blessing, yet still in sin. Still living and doing things contrary to the word of God. Many start, but do not finish. Many once ran well, but now have allowed that which is contrary to scripture to run their lives. The scriptures bear this out in Galatians chapter three. "O foolish Galatians, who hath bewitched you, that ye should not obey the truth, " Galatians 3:1 "Are ye so foolish? having begun in the Spirit, are ye n ow made perfect by the flesh?" It is more than mumbling words in  a building. "Seek the Lord and his strength, seek his face continually".   I Chronicles 16:11 "Take with you words, and turn to the Lord: say unto him, Take away all iniquity, and receive us graciously; so will we render the calves of our lips."   Hosea 14:2 "Pray without ceasing."  I Thessalonians 5:17 "Is any among you afflicted?  let him pray."   James 5:13a "For this child I prayed; and the Lord hath given me my petition which I asked of Him."  I Samuel 1:27 "Confess your faults one to another, and pray one for another, that ye may be healed.  The effectual fervent prayer of a righteous man availeth much."  James 5:16 It is truly times for the people of God to pray. steadfastapostolic.com

Here is a question that has been asked several times.  Why do male Preachers/Pastors have body guards, security?  Not all, but quite a few.  What is the purpose?  Jesus did not have a body guard.  Apostle Paul did not have a body guard.  Apostle Peter did not have a body guard.  What is the 'fear' that causes a servant of the Lord Jesus Christ  to need a body guard? There is an account in scripture of the time when Judas led a multitude with swords, made up of the chief priests, the scribes and the elders to Jesus to betray Him.   In Matthew 26:14-16 speaks to this. In the process of studying, the Lord is teaching me that if we fail to teach children and others to be responsible as they grow, we are assisting in hindering them from being emotionally mature.  It will place the person in a position of not being able to handle the issues of life.  It will keep them from "growing up".  It will keep them from being able to make decisions and being independent. I understand better what the Apostle Paul in I Corinthian 13:11 , "When I was a child, I spake as a child, I understood as a child, I thought as a child: but when I became a man, I put away childish things". "Brethren, be not children in understanding: howbeit in malice be ye children, but in understanding be men".  I Corinthians 14:20

Of a truth, there is nothing like real preaching.  Like the broadcast intro says,"Amen that soul saving, Apostolic, Holiness Doctrine, Oh Praise God" There is only one way to Heaven.  That is through Jesus Christ.  There is only one Lord.  His name is Jesus.  The Lord is against false doctrine.  I am too. False doctrine deviates from what the Bible teaches.  False Doctrine makes room for folks to do what they want to do and still say they are Christians.  Not so!  The Word of God commands that the servant of the Lord cry out against false doctrine.  When someone opposes this, they are wrong. II John, verses 7-10 says:  "For many deceivers are entered into the world, who confess not that Jesus Christ is come in the flesh.  This a deceiver and an antichrist.  Look to yourselves, that we lose not those things  which we have wrought, but that we receive a full reward.  Whosoever transgresseth, and abideth not ...
