What is in your heart?  Who is the real you?

The Bible teaches to keep your heart with all diligence; for out of it are the issues of life."  Proverbs 4:23  The Bible also teaches, For as he thinketh in his heart, so is he: eat and drink, saith he to thee; but his heart is not with thee."  Proverbs 23:7

Part of having a walk with the Lord is to live in truth.  Live in the truth of the Gospel.  Live in truth with how one deals with others.  One of the ways the Work of the Lord is hindered is when people do things because someone told them to instead of because the Word of God says to. All that profess Christ as Lord and Savior obey the Word of God with gladness.   Jesus said 'if you love me, keep my commandments.' John 14:15

Then in John 14:21 the Bible says, "He that hath my commandments, and keepeth them, he is is that loveth me: and he that loveth me shall be loved of my Father, and I will love him, and will manifest myself to him."    I John 2:4 says, "He that saith, I know him, and keepeth not his commandments, is a liar, and the truth is not in him."  Verse 3 says, "And hereby we do know that we know him, if we keep his commandments."  Verse 4 is saying a lot.  Keeping the commandments is how it shows that a person knows the Lord.

What's in your heart?  The ways of the Lord or the ways of the world?  Your ways or His ways?

#A Lot of Singing,#Shouting,#Tongue Talking,#Playing

Music was one of the things that drew me to want to go to Church when I was not saved.   I use to love to hear and 'feel' the spirit of the songs.  Back then, the singers would sing unto the Lord.  They were not paid to sing.  They were not seeking recording contracts.  They would sing unto the Lord.  The would sing about the Lord.  So, when one went to hear the singers, your soul got touched whether you wanted it to or not. I can remember going to the Holiness Churches.  The praise was different too.  When the Saints praised God back then, it was real.  When the Saints did dance 'in the Spirit', it was real.  You could feel it.  There was always this 'presence' in the Holiness Church that I could not explain....then.  But that presence kind of held you captive, whether you wanted it o or not.  And, sometimes Church would go on for hours, but no one cared.  And, if one of the Saints said something to you that the Lord gave them for you, you knew it and felt it

"For I testify unto every man that heareth the words of the prophecy of this book, If any man shall add unto these things, God shall add unto him the plagues that are written in this book: And if any man shall take away from the words of the book of this prophecy, God shall take away his part out of the book of life, and out of the holy city, and from the things which are written in this book."   Revelations 22:18-19 The scriptures are plain.  The Bible is not to be played with.  The words written in it are to be taught and preached unto the soul of men.  To add to the what the Lord has already said will bring plagues upon man kind.  To take away from what the word says, will cause a person's part in the holy city (Heaven) to be removed.  So, why would anyone try and change what the Bible says?  Cute sayings do not lead a soul to salvation.  It takes the Word preached and taught.  The Bible says specifically that the word is God ( John 1:1 ).   The Bible says specifical
