#Following, #Leaders,

When it comes to your soul, who are you following?  Some follow people.  Some follow a man or a woman.  They like how he or she does certain things, so they follow them.  Those that follow people, tend to try and please people.  So, when it comes to your soul, who are you following?

Man can not save you.  Woman can not save you.  Jesus saves.  In the Bible, Jesus called his disciples one by one.  Each one that he called, he said, "follow me".  At no times did Jesus ever tell his disciples to follow anyone of anything else.

In Matthew 8:22 the scriptures speak to a certain disciple that said unto Jesus, "suffer me first to go and bury my father.  But Jesus said unto him, Follow me; and let the dead bury their dead."

In Matthew 4:19 Jesus tells his disciples to 'Follow me, and I will make you fishers of men."

When it comes to your soul, who are you following?

The rich young ruler came to Jesus, 'after' Jesus had just finished teaching his disciples and telling them 'suffer little children and forbid them not to come unto me: for of such is the kingdom of heaven."   The rich young ruler had a question concerning that to do to have eternal life.  Jesus told him in verse 21, "If thou wilt be perfect, go and sell that thou hast, and give to the poor, and thou shalt have treasure in heaven: and come and follow me."  This saying from Jesus made the rich young ruler sorrowful and caused him to turn away because his possessions were great.

When it comes to your soul, who are you following?

Jesus always commanded men to follow him, not them.

Following Jesus means obeying the Word, for the Word is God (John 1:1).  The Lord commands his people to study the Word.  For studying will teach one how to know truth from error and how to know the 'voice of the word' from the voice of error.

Holiness has a sound.  When the day of Pentecost was fully come, that sound came from Heaven.  Saints still listen for that sound.  It help the Saint to know who is a disciple of the Lord and who is not.

When it comes to your soul, who are you following?

In the book of John chapter 10 verse 4 and 5 the Lord teaches that his sheep know his voice and a stranger will they not follow, but will flee from him:

When it comes to your soul, who are you following?  It Heaven is your goal, you have to follow Jesus and take no chance of getting lost.
