The Word of God is true all by itself!!

There is a saying that time brings about a change.  This may be true for some things, but not Jesus Christ of the Church.

The Bible teaches Jesus Christ the same yesterday, and today and forever  (Hebrew 13:8).  Jesus also says, "I am the Lord, I change not.  (Malachi 3:6)

The Word of God, the Bible, is forever established.  The Word of God, the Bible, is the teaching that will lead a soul to salvation, if obeyed.  Gods word can not be changed.  There is no private interpretation.  For the prophecy came not in old time by the will of man: but hold men of God spake as they were moved by the Holy Ghost (II Peter 1:20,21).

Stay with the Book!

"In the beginning was the word and the word was with God and the word was God.  The same was in the beginning with God.  And without Him was not anything made that was made.  In Him was life and the life is the light of men.  And the light shineth in darkness; and the darkness comprehended it not."  John 1:1-5

Preach the Word.  Teach the Word.  Live by the Word.

"Now ye are clean through the word which I have spoken unto you."  John 15:3

"It pleased God by the foolishness of preaching to save them that believe."  I Corinthians 1:21b

"Preach the word; be instant in season, out of season; reprove, rebuke, exhort with all long suffering and doctrine."  II Timothy 4:2

Music was one of the things that drew me to want to go to Church when I was not saved.   I use to love to hear and 'feel' the spirit of the songs.  Back then, the singers would sing unto the Lord.  They were not paid to sing.  They were not seeking recording contracts.  They would sing unto the Lord.  The would sing about the Lord.  So, when one went to hear the singers, your soul got touched whether you wanted it to or not. I can remember going to the Holiness Churches.  The praise was different too.  When the Saints praised God back then, it was real.  When the Saints did dance 'in the Spirit', it was real.  You could feel it.  There was always this 'presence' in the Holiness Church that I could not explain....then.  But that presence kind of held you captive, whether you wanted it o or not.  And, sometimes Church would go on for hours, but no one cared.  And, if one of the Saints said something to you that the Lord gave them for you, you knew it and felt it

"For I testify unto every man that heareth the words of the prophecy of this book, If any man shall add unto these things, God shall add unto him the plagues that are written in this book: And if any man shall take away from the words of the book of this prophecy, God shall take away his part out of the book of life, and out of the holy city, and from the things which are written in this book."   Revelations 22:18-19 The scriptures are plain.  The Bible is not to be played with.  The words written in it are to be taught and preached unto the soul of men.  To add to the what the Lord has already said will bring plagues upon man kind.  To take away from what the word says, will cause a person's part in the holy city (Heaven) to be removed.  So, why would anyone try and change what the Bible says?  Cute sayings do not lead a soul to salvation.  It takes the Word preached and taught.  The Bible says specifically that the word is God ( John 1:1 ).   The Bible says specifical
