Once can not afford to get so busy that you start to do things on your on, on schedule.  When we get too busy, we start making schedules, pre-emptying out time, until the Lord no longer has a place in our lives.  A person can get too busy 'doing the Lords work', until things become routine.
The Church can not afford to be too busy until it can not hear from the Lord.

It takes time to seek the Lord. It is not something that can be done at the drop of a hat.  To enter into the presence of the Lord and fellowship with Him takes time.  The Bible says the Lords ways are not our ways and his thoughts are not our thoughts.  They use to sing a song that says, 'you can't hurry God, no no no no, you have to wait'.  The same still holds true today.

In II Chronicles 7:14, the word says, "If my people, which are called by my name, shall humble themselves, and pray, and seek my face...."  We can stop right there.   First He said if 'my people'.  Not just anybody, but His people.  Then He said His people have to humble themselves.  It takes something to be humble and stay humble.  For the Bible says pride goeth  before destruction and an haughty spirit before a fall.  Pride and prayer do not go together.

Then He said His people should pray and seek His face.  That takes work.  Getting rid of thoughts, bringing the mind in to focus on the Lord, blocking out those around you and entering into the prayer closet.  Praise God.  No better place to be than in the presence of the Lord.  Many times loud gets confused with prayer. Just because someone is loud and saying a lot of words does not mean they are praying.  There is a place in prayer where what is in the heart is what is said with the mouth that brings true fellowship in the Spirit.  If the heart is not clean, the words spoke will not be real.  A clean heart brings forth pure words that get the attention of the Lord.  That takes work.  Like the old Saints use to say, 'pray until you feel something you can hold on to'.

In order to know the will of the Lord, to know what the Lord is calling for, His people have to pray. Don't forget to take time to meet with the Lord in prayer, daily.

#A Lot of Singing,#Shouting,#Tongue Talking,#Playing

Music was one of the things that drew me to want to go to Church when I was not saved.   I use to love to hear and 'feel' the spirit of the songs.  Back then, the singers would sing unto the Lord.  They were not paid to sing.  They were not seeking recording contracts.  They would sing unto the Lord.  The would sing about the Lord.  So, when one went to hear the singers, your soul got touched whether you wanted it to or not. I can remember going to the Holiness Churches.  The praise was different too.  When the Saints praised God back then, it was real.  When the Saints did dance 'in the Spirit', it was real.  You could feel it.  There was always this 'presence' in the Holiness Church that I could not explain....then.  But that presence kind of held you captive, whether you wanted it o or not.  And, sometimes Church would go on for hours, but no one cared.  And, if one of the Saints said something to you that the Lord gave them for you, you knew it and felt it

"For I testify unto every man that heareth the words of the prophecy of this book, If any man shall add unto these things, God shall add unto him the plagues that are written in this book: And if any man shall take away from the words of the book of this prophecy, God shall take away his part out of the book of life, and out of the holy city, and from the things which are written in this book."   Revelations 22:18-19 The scriptures are plain.  The Bible is not to be played with.  The words written in it are to be taught and preached unto the soul of men.  To add to the what the Lord has already said will bring plagues upon man kind.  To take away from what the word says, will cause a person's part in the holy city (Heaven) to be removed.  So, why would anyone try and change what the Bible says?  Cute sayings do not lead a soul to salvation.  It takes the Word preached and taught.  The Bible says specifically that the word is God ( John 1:1 ).   The Bible says specifical
