#Bless the Lord,#Praise,

While studying in Psalms 145, the Word of the Lord plainly lets it be known that the Saints of God are to praise the Lord daily. Verse two states specifically, "Every day will i bless thee, and I will praise thy name fore ever and ever".  Oh, Amen!  What a joy to bless the Lord.

This Psalm continues on to say how the Lord is great and greatly to be praised.  But, when you get to verse 4 the Word of the Lord is giving instruction.  This verse states, "One generation shall praise thy works to another, and shall declare thy mighty acts".

We hear alot today about some of the things the Church and the people of God do are 'old'.  But, it this scripture is telling us to pass on from one generation to another praise for the works of the Lord, then the ways of the Church do not get old!!  If you study this verse and references, you will find that the children of Israel would pass on by word of mouth the things the Lord did for them when He delivered them out of the hand of Pharaoh or when He sent the death angel into the camp to kill the first born.  But, the children of Israel were spared from this because they obeyed the Lord and placed the blood of an unspotted lamb along the lintels of their doors.  Praise the  Lord for obedience.

The Saints of God will praise the Lord.  The Saints of God will tell their children testimonies  how the Lord brought them out of sin or healed their body or made a way when there seemed to be no way.    Praise is comely to the Saints.  The blood bought, Jesus Name baptised believer will bless the Lord.  He or she will sing of His goodness.  The Saint of God will rejoice in the Lord.

There is a Church saying that says, "when I think of the goodness of Jesus, and all He has done for me, my soul cries out hallelujah.  Thank God for saving me".

What does your soul say?  Will you bless the Lord at all times?  Will His praise continually be in your mouth? Will  you proclaim that you will bless the Lord?

Just something to think about.
