"But without faith it is impossible to please Him; for he that cometh to God must believe that he is, and that he is a re warder of them that diligently seek him".  Hebrews 11:6

When you read that scripture, it makes you think, 'do I want to please God?'  This scripture  tells us faith does not come by works.  One can not do things and get God's attention.  It takes faith to move God.  And, the first order of faith is to believe that He is.  That He is the only true, wise God.  That He is the only one that can save the soul.  That He is the first and the last.  That He is the Messiah.

The scriptures teach on honoring the Lord with ones lip but the heat is far from Him.  It is easy to say and not have faith that He, Jesus, is God.  Some can not get past that.  Past what?  That Jesus is God.  Do you believe that Jesus is God manifest in the flesh?  Do you have faith in Jesus to be what He said he would be?  How can one seek the Lord if he or she does not have faith in Him?

It is however, easy to have faith in 'God' when there is a need.   A need for healing, or provisions of food and shelter, a job, etc.  And because of His love, mercy and grace, he will provide the healing, food, shelter, job and then be forgotten after the needs are met.   That is why it goes beyond stuff to having faith in God, Jesus Christ as Lord and Savior.

We live in a time now where people are turning their backs on God in such large numbers. They feel they are doing alright with out the need for Jesus or the Church.  So the questions has to continue to be asked, "what do you believe?".  Do you have faith in God, Jesus Christ?

#A Lot of Singing,#Shouting,#Tongue Talking,#Playing

Music was one of the things that drew me to want to go to Church when I was not saved.   I use to love to hear and 'feel' the spirit of the songs.  Back then, the singers would sing unto the Lord.  They were not paid to sing.  They were not seeking recording contracts.  They would sing unto the Lord.  The would sing about the Lord.  So, when one went to hear the singers, your soul got touched whether you wanted it to or not. I can remember going to the Holiness Churches.  The praise was different too.  When the Saints praised God back then, it was real.  When the Saints did dance 'in the Spirit', it was real.  You could feel it.  There was always this 'presence' in the Holiness Church that I could not explain....then.  But that presence kind of held you captive, whether you wanted it o or not.  And, sometimes Church would go on for hours, but no one cared.  And, if one of the Saints said something to you that the Lord gave them for you, you knew it and felt it

"For I testify unto every man that heareth the words of the prophecy of this book, If any man shall add unto these things, God shall add unto him the plagues that are written in this book: And if any man shall take away from the words of the book of this prophecy, God shall take away his part out of the book of life, and out of the holy city, and from the things which are written in this book."   Revelations 22:18-19 The scriptures are plain.  The Bible is not to be played with.  The words written in it are to be taught and preached unto the soul of men.  To add to the what the Lord has already said will bring plagues upon man kind.  To take away from what the word says, will cause a person's part in the holy city (Heaven) to be removed.  So, why would anyone try and change what the Bible says?  Cute sayings do not lead a soul to salvation.  It takes the Word preached and taught.  The Bible says specifically that the word is God ( John 1:1 ).   The Bible says specifical
