I had the privilage to attend a service this morning for a womens meeting.  The lesson was taught by the Pastor, a male.  His subject was about Jacobs only daughter, Dinah.  He brought out some points that blessed my soul.

For example, Dinah was Jacobs only daughter.  When Jacob's sons were born, their mother, Leah, proclaimed a blessing from The Lord for each of them.  But when Dinah was born, she did not mentioned her a being a blessing from The Lord.  I could have been many reasons for this.  The Pastor brought out how it could have been because having sons was considered a blessing.  It could have been because Leah knew the plight of a female and having  daughter reminded her of that.

The scripture goes on to say how Dinah left her kingdom to go see the daughters of the land (Genesis 34:1).  There could have been many reasons why Dinah left the kingdom.  But in the world, she was found of the man Shechem the son of Hamor the Hivite.  The Bible says he took her, and  defiled her.  Here in is the first mention of the 'soul tie'.   It could be said the man saw the pureness in her since she was from the kindgom and that is what drew him to her.  Dinah felll for his talk and lost the 'light' that shown from her because she was from the kingdom.

The man went to the extreem of talkng Dinah's father and asking him for her hand in marriage.  The man did not ask Dinah.

When Jacob heard of the relationshp, he waited for his sons to come in.  It was said that maybe Jacob could not say anything because he too was a trickster.  But, Dinah did not belong outside of the kingdom.    Dinah's relationship with Schecem cost her.  When Jacobs sons did come home, they heard about what was going on with their sister.  The went after her to bring her back home.

Dinah's brothers made this statment to validate what they did.  In Genesis 34:31  the following is recorded, "And they said, Should he del with our sister as with an harlot?"

Dinah's brothers avenged the wrong that was done to her.  What can be learned from this?  STAY IN THE KINGDOM!!!!!  Don't leave the kingdom looking for anything.  The Lord will supply all your need according to His riches in glory.

Music was one of the things that drew me to want to go to Church when I was not saved.   I use to love to hear and 'feel' the spirit of the songs.  Back then, the singers would sing unto the Lord.  They were not paid to sing.  They were not seeking recording contracts.  They would sing unto the Lord.  The would sing about the Lord.  So, when one went to hear the singers, your soul got touched whether you wanted it to or not. I can remember going to the Holiness Churches.  The praise was different too.  When the Saints praised God back then, it was real.  When the Saints did dance 'in the Spirit', it was real.  You could feel it.  There was always this 'presence' in the Holiness Church that I could not explain....then.  But that presence kind of held you captive, whether you wanted it o or not.  And, sometimes Church would go on for hours, but no one cared.  And, if one of the Saints said something to you that the Lord gave them for you, you knew it and felt it

"For I testify unto every man that heareth the words of the prophecy of this book, If any man shall add unto these things, God shall add unto him the plagues that are written in this book: And if any man shall take away from the words of the book of this prophecy, God shall take away his part out of the book of life, and out of the holy city, and from the things which are written in this book."   Revelations 22:18-19 The scriptures are plain.  The Bible is not to be played with.  The words written in it are to be taught and preached unto the soul of men.  To add to the what the Lord has already said will bring plagues upon man kind.  To take away from what the word says, will cause a person's part in the holy city (Heaven) to be removed.  So, why would anyone try and change what the Bible says?  Cute sayings do not lead a soul to salvation.  It takes the Word preached and taught.  The Bible says specifically that the word is God ( John 1:1 ).   The Bible says specifical
