#Tell It, #Witness,#Time,#Be Ready
We had an Evangelist come through this past Sunday. The service truly made you look at yourself and ask yourself, "what are you doing for the Kingdom of God"?
Going to Church is good. The Bible instructs the people of God to assemble together. But, assembling together is not serving the Lord. When we go to Church, it is to receive instruction in righteousness, offer praise and worship unto the most high God, fellowship with other believers and give to help support the ministry. But the Word of God also tells us to go out into the highways and byways and compel men, women, boys and girls to come to the House of the Lord (Luke 14:23 'And the Lord said unto the servant, Go out into the high ways and hedges and compel them to come in, that my house may be filled').
Then the question was asked, 'how many souls have you won to the Lord'?
It is not enough to gather together, pray, sing, shout, listen to the Word. After all these things, the believer must go out into a dark world and be a witness to the things he or she was praying, singing and shouting about.
When the Lord said in His word to come out from among them and be ye separate, He did not mean for the believer not to talk with the unbeliever. How can you be a witness if you do not engage in conversation with unbelievers? If the believer is scared he or she will fall back into sin, then you need to check your birth. For if any man be in Christ, he is a new creature. Old things are passed away.
I think about my family. Many of them go to Church. But most of them have not repented of sin and been baptized in Jesus Name for the remission of the sins they have committed.
Lord, help me get the message across, In Jesus Name.
