Holiness Has Not Changed

"Thus saith the Lord, stand ye in the ways, and see, and ask for the old paths, where is the good way, and walk therein, and ye shall find rest for your souls.  But they said, We will not walk therein". Holiness does not change.  As each day passes, there is a large majority that continues to try and change the standards of Holiness.  The Word of God still says to be ye Holy for I am Holy. In ministry, there is space for compromise or taking down.  The conveniences of the world will make one lazy in seeking the Lord.  Holiness requires consecration, fasting and praying.  Fasting will be a hot topic next month.  But who will really be fasting as taught by the word of God? As a minister of the Gospel, I can not agree with anything that the Word teaches against.  Call it old fashion, out of date, or whatever.  But the word of God is the word of God.  He has taught us not to add anything to it or take anything from it. December 25th has finally passed.  Every time that day comes around, think about the deception that takes place.  Children are lied to about a man in a red suit with a white beard, the people of God think they are celebrating the birth of Jesus Christ, people get in debt buying gifts for other people, parties are thrown and alcohol is served.  Those that suffer with depression this time of year have a hard time while the parties and lies go on. No, I do not celebrate Christmas.  Yes, I am a born again, baptized in Jesus Name, tongue talking, holy roller.  Glory!  December 25th has nothing to do with Jesus. I remember walking across my garage when the Holy Ghost spoke to me as I passed the Christmas tree in its box.  He told me, "I'm not part of that".  I remember it like it was yesterday.  I went, picked up that boxed tree and drug it to the curb for trash pick up.  I never shall forget it.  My daughter was small and she cried. ...

While studying in Psalms 145 , the Word of the Lord plainly lets it be known that the Saints of God are to praise the Lord daily. Verse two states specifically, "Every day will i bless thee, and I will praise thy name fore ever and ever".  Oh, Amen!  What a joy to bless the Lord. This Psalm continues on to say how the Lord is great and greatly to be praised.  But, when you get to verse 4 the Word of the Lord is giving instruction.  This verse states, "One generation shall praise thy works to another, and shall declare thy mighty acts". We hear alot today about some of the things the Church and the people of God do are 'old'.  But, it this scripture is telling us to pass on from one generation to another praise for the works of the Lord, then the ways of the Church do not get old!!  If you study this verse and references, you will find that the children of Israel would pass on by word of mouth the things the Lord did for them when He delivered them out ...

There are so many that do not believe in the Lord.  They do not see the need.  They do not see anything that the Lord is doing.  Nor, do the accept anything that He has done.  They seem to believe that men are self made and made their own good come about. When I heard someone say this, I thought of the scripture that says, "the fool has said in his heart, there is no God".  This person is looking for a sign or miracle before they will believe.  My prayer is that the Lord will draw and have mercy.

We just finished three days of preaching thanking the Lord for 9 years as a Pastor at Steadfast Apostolic Church.  The Elder brought messages that allowed for the soul to eat.  I was so grateful for that.  The final message he preached came from the book of Jude vs. 3, "Beloved, when I gave all diligence to write unto you of the common salvation, it was needful for me to write unto you, and exhort you that ye should earnestly contend for the faith which was once delivered unto the saints." I took that message to heart.  The Elder said the Lord gave it to him for our Church.  The times have led us to a place where men do not want to hear the truth or be told the truth.  Everyone wants to live by their own convictions and still made it to Heaven.  When the Word of God speaks about conviction, it is talking about being convicted of the fact that one is not living according to the Bible. "But without faith it is impossible to please Him; for he that cometh to God must believe that he is, and that he is a re warder of them that diligently seek him".   Hebrews 11:6 When you read that scripture, it makes you think, 'do I want to please God?'  This scripture  tells us faith does not come by works.  One can not do things and get God's attention.  It takes faith to move God.  And, the first order of faith is to believe that He is.  That He is the only true, wise God.  That He is the only one that can save the soul.  That He is the first and the last.  That He is the Messiah. The scriptures teach on honoring the Lord with ones lip but the heat is far from Him.  It is easy to say and not have faith that He, Jesus, is God.  Some can not get past that.  Past what?  That Jesus is God.  Do you believe that Jesus is God manifest in the flesh?  Do you have faith in Jesus to be what He said he would be...

As a minister of the Gospel, this is one of the duties the Lord has commanded, keep the faith alive.  What is meant by faith?  Accepting and believing the Gospel of Jesus Christ the way it is written.  For in order to go to Heaven, everyone must obey the same Gospel. There is a  charge to preach the Gospel, because one never knows who will be the next person to believe in the Gospel of Jesus Christ.  Preaching the Gospel, so the death, burial and resurrection of Christ can be believed on unto salvation.  What is the Gospel?  The good news that Jesus Christ paid for sin, when he allowed himself to be crucified.  Jesus is God.  He could have called down a legion of Angels to destroy those that set ou...

Romans 6:23 says, "For the wages of sin is death; but the gift of God is eternal like through Jesus Christ our Lord". The world is working over time trying to erase the difference between good and evil, right and wrong.  The prince of this world, satan, knows that hell is real.  He knows that sinners will end up there.  He knows that there is a price to be paid for living a sinful life.  If you ask the average person the question, 'what is sin' you would get all kinds of answers.  However, the Bible states, all unrighteousness is sin.  So satan's next point of attack is the Word of God.  If he can get people to believe the Bible is not true, then how will sin be defined?  It would be defined by what men want sin to be. The Church belongs to God!  He purchased it with His blood on Calvary. At no times should anyone try and make the Church a carnal entity.  The work of the Church is to be directed by the Holy Ghost.  It is out of order when one tries to make it appear as if the work of the Church is mans idea or mans ways. I have experienced a lot of people lately saying 'your church' or trying to make the Church Jesus Christ paid with His blood have carnal feelings.  Not so.  A Pastor of a Church purchased by the blood of Jesus has one goal in mind and heart and that is to do what the Lord says to do the way He says to do it.  At no time, does a Pastor ministering in a Church purchased by the blood of Jesus Christ put his or her feeling into the ministry. Jesus told us that without Him , we  can do nothing.  The church is to be led by the Holy Ghost and no one else. John 3:16 "For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life".  What love.  Then verse 17 says, "For God sent not his Son into the world to condemn the world; but that the world through him might be saved". So when I hear people say things like "a good God would not send anyone to hell", I ask how that conclusion was drawn.  God does not send anyone to hell.  Men, women, boys and girls send their own souls to hell because they will not receive the redeeming work of the Lord into their life. The two verses above are very clear.  Whosover believeth in him should not perish.  How many people actually believe in the soul saving power of Jesus Christ?  An also, how many people actual realize they need their sins forgiven?  How many people believe they are sinners?  In our world today, most think they are o.k. if they are good citizens.  Not so when ...

II John verses 9-11 says,"Whosoever transgresseth, and abideth no in the doctrine of Christ, hath not God.  He that abideth in the doctrine of Christ, he hath both the Father and the Son.  If there come any unto you, and bring not this doctrine, receive him not into your house, neither bid him God speed: For he that biddeth him God speed is partaker of his evil deeds". There is lot of talk and teaching about whether or not the Bible is true.  Is hell real?  What is the purpose of Church?  Do we still need the Church? All Christians are fake and on and on.  Those that once ran well are going back to the beggardly elements of the world and trying to discredit the Bible. Anger is a terrible spirit to have or to have to deal with.  I destroys all that it comes in contact with.  It is not your friend.  The Bible says: "He that is soon angry dealeth foolishly: and a man of wicked devised is hated".  Pr. 14:17 "He that is slow to anger is better than the mighty, and he that ruleth his spirit than he that  taketh a city".  Pr. 16:32 "Be not hasty in thy spirit to be angry: for anger resteth in the bosom of fools".  Ec.7:9 Those with the spirit of anger are foolish according to the Bible. If you have an anger spirit, get rid of it before it destroys you.

The wages of sin is still death.  Matters not what man says.  Everything can not and will not make it into Heaven. I see what the enemy is doing with the TV shows that depict the worlds version of a Christian.  Christians are Christ like.  Christians, Saints, do not drink, smoke, go to movies, dances, say curse words, date, fornicate, lie, steal, ........  When I see a false representation of the Church I pray and ask the Lord to help those over look the lies of the false preacher, teacher so the person will not be deceived. Let the Church be the Church.

My prayer is that the People of God will not get weary of living holy.  It seems like there is a spirit that is making some of the Saints grow tired of praying, fasting, studying the Bible, going to Church regularly, witnessing, living a clean life.  Seems like more and more I hear of Saints wanting to or actually going to movies, dances, even drinking (just a little they say).  And then there are the children of the Saints.  The young people seem more interested in the world than the work of the Lord or just the Lord Himself. There is too much back biting, lying, and sin going on.  How can the Church witness to the world if the Church want to be like the world?  What happened to altar calls?  Elders laying hands?   All night prayer meetings?  Tarrying at the altar?  I fear that the electronic world (TV, computers, I phones, text messages,email,instagram, twitter) has loosed a spirit among the people that is going to take over the Spir...

Conviction is still required for repentance to take place. Today in Church, I saw something I have not seen take place in awhile.  I saw a sinner get convicted by the Word of God.  I saw the tears flowing down the cheeks and pride dismissed.  I saw a soul that saw some light of the Gospel.  He saw enought ligth to want to get in place to receive from the Lord.  What a blessing that was!! No whooping.  No hollering.  Just the Gospel preached. God said he chose the foolishness of preaching to save the lost.  I thank the Lord for His word.  It still works. Help me Lord to continue to preach the Gospel of Jesus Christ to your Glory.

Jesus Christ is the savior of the world. Many debate who is is.  But the Bible teaches who He is.  Those that preach and teach the Bible need to preach and teach who he is. The Bible says the word became flesh and dwelt among us.  The Bible says 'in the beginning was the word and the word was with God and the word was God.  The same was in the beginning with God".  From the very beginning, there was God.  Before man was every created, there was God.  From Genesis to Malachi God used Prophets to speak through to get man to turn from sin.  Then after 400 years of silence, God came to earth himself.  The word was made flesh. The Bible teaches to follow peace with all men and holiness without which no man shall see the Lord. Man can not take for granted the way he or she lives.  The world is slowly trying to make holiness become obsolete.  The Church can not take down from the standards of the Word. A person can not be 'saved' and still drink, smoke, gamble, fornicate, commit adultery, lie, steal, back bite, hate, kill etc.  Galatians chapter five teaches us how the flesh manifests.  Sin can not be tolerated by the Church if saving souls is the goal. Taking a stand for Holiness has a price.  The Word of God says to come out from among them and be ye separate said the Lord of hosts.  The Saint is in the world but not of the world. Pastor Webb

The Bible teaches that you shall know the truth and the truth shall make you free. I am running into a new generation that does not believe the Bible is the Word of the Lord.  Some of these people are young adults that were raised in Holiness.  They are beginning to believe the Bible is a way to control a persons mind and will so that they are a slave to Jesus.  Some even curse at being taken to Church to learn about Jesus. The Lord is leading me to start a Christian Coaching Practice.  After 22 years in the in the ministry, it is time.  There are so many mothers and children to help.  As the Lord leads, directs and helps, I will do what He says to do. It is almost October 31st.  Prayerfully, the Saints of God know better than to take part in halloween.  The very origin of halloween in demonic.  There is nothing, safe, cute or Holy about it.  Stores sell candy 364 other days of the year.  Please, in Jesus Name, do not expose your children to this day. All you need to do is look up the origin of this day.  It was a Catholic Bishop that helped make this day appear to be alright for Christians.  Not so.  It is not alright.  The only spirit you need is the Holy Ghost.  And, there is only one way to receive the Holy Ghost.  Seek it out.

This is one of those subjects that either offends or causes gladness. For the Church that Jesus purchased with His blood, halloween is not a a day to celebrate.  The Saints of God do not participate in halloween.  No pumpkin patches, no candy, no costumes. Candy is sold all year long.  Why expose your children to this type of celebration that is not based upon the Word of God?  If you search out its history, halloween is based on ancient Celtic celebrations.  It was a day the Celtics observed the dead.  Witches, fairies, etc were all part of this celebration.  When the custom came to the United States, people started dressing up like the witches and dead??  All of this information is available on the Internet God says in His word that his people are destroyed for lack of knowledge.  Next Thursday, 'churches' will have pumpkin patches, halloween parties, trick or trunk etc.  But if you search the Bible, the Word of God, one wil...

Why are Gospel Singers leaving singing for the Lord and start making movies, performing in plays, and all of that?  My Lord!!!  This is not right nor is it holy. It might be popular, but is not holy!!  And God said for His people to be holy for He is holy.

Repentance has to be preached.  Only through repentance can salvation be obtained.  Shouting, dancing, singing will not do.  Only repentance places a soul in position to receive the salvation of teh Lord. Repent before it is too late. steadfastapostolic.com

My, my, my!!!  The love of the Lord and His spirit blessed the people of God on this morning.  Before communion was taken, the Holy Ghost moved.  Repentance took place.  Reconciliation took place.  Tears were shed.  No music.  No singing.  No shouting.  Just Holy Ghost power in operation.  Even the children got a touch in their soul.  When the Holy Ghost moves someone to ask for forgiveness.  When the Holy Ghost moves on someone to go to the altar and repent.  When a soul comes up to the preacher and asks for forgiveness because they came against them..Holy Ghost power.  But the love that filled the room moved my soul.  Real love.  Life changing love.  Holy Ghost power.  Deliverance took place.  Young folks at the altar weeping before the Lord.  My, my, my. #Steadfast #Holiness The Lord has not changed His way.  The Church needs to be the Church.  In John 3 the Lord taught how to enter into the kingdom of Heaven.  That has not changed.  The Word of God is truth.  The word of God is life.  Apostle Paul told Timothy to preach the Word.  He also told him that the time would come when people would add to themselves teachers having itching ears.  The day is too far spent to play around with Gods Word now!! Let the Church be the Church!!

Today, is a good day.  I will bless the Lord at all times.  His praise shall continually be in my mouth.

The Bible teaches that the Saint of God is to be in the world but not of the world.  The Saint of God must be careful and make sure he or she is following the teachings of the Bible.    The Saint is not to love the world nor get caught up in its devises.  More time must be spent in meditation, prayer, Bible study, church attendance.

Finally, starting this new aspect of the ministry. The Word of God is so important and necessary.  I will use this medium of communication to spread the message of Holiness, Godliness and Salvation.
